We have had some gorgeous weather lately. Even close to 60 degrees out....I would venture to guess, which is pretty amazing for the beach in March! So, we went down to the jetty to enjoy the weather a bit. The sea was pretty calm. The sun was shining, the sky was blue. Beautiful!!!
You can see we have had major waves....I think this year I have seen more driftwood out here than ever before!
We had a Valentines Dance at our church. There were about maybe 20...probably less...people there. We really need families to move here...please.....J was on duty and Kaleb stayed home, but we still had great time.

Del is teaching Kas a few moves. I think he got ahold of about every female there...while his wife took photos!

but, it is important to get him ready for 14!!!!! and dances!!!!!!! ;)
Kaleb finished off his wrestling career with the Outstanding Freshman award. I think I mentioned that he got 5th in regionals. It was located at Tacoma Baptist....I wanted to show you what their gym looked like, cause I was impressed. Anyways, back to Kaleb. We thought he ended the season very well and are proud of the work he put into it.
Wrestling is as much mental as physical. Confidence, strength and skill are all very important componants. It was very interesting to see Kaleb work through each of these aspects. He's a Towery...so strength is a no brainer...:)
Now he and Elijah are training with the freestyle wrestlers. We aren't sure yet if they will compete in these events...but Kaleb is enjoying helping to coach the younger kids. Elijah has been sick for each of those practices so far! :\ allergies.
